Summary: Lusona Consultancy is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a Construction Services business in Ayr, following a recent acquisition. The role involves financial accounting and reporting within an SME environment, with an immediate start for an interim contractor. The position may transition to a permanent role for the right candidate after an initial temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end management accounts
  • Statutory Accounting accounts and annual audit activities
  • Weekly cashflow reporting
  • Overseeing transactional team
  • Banking/oversea cashflow/approve payments
  • Reporting to management
  • Monthly reconciling and reporting on Invoice financing facility
  • Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases
  • Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes
  • Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting

Key Skills:

  • Part Qualified/Qualified or QBE
  • 3+ years' accounting experience
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be working with an established Construction Services business in Ayr. Our Client are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant who will be joining the business at an exciting time following a new acquisition in the Group structure. The ideal candidate will have experience in Financial Accounting and reporting within an SME environment. Our client are looking for an interim contractor to start immediately to support with BAU and systems improvement activity. Our client are offering a package between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience. This opportunity will go permanent for the right candidate after an initial temporary period should this work for both parties.
