Summary: The Financial Accountant will join a growing business in Crawley for an initial 6-month contract, focusing on revenue accounting in compliance with IFRS requirements. Responsibilities include recording revenue, preparing journal entries, and maintaining financial data, while collaborating with various departments globally. Key Responsibilities:
- Record revenue in compliance with IFRS requirements for complex agreements.
- Review customer purchase orders, Statement of Work documents, and Master Purchasing Agreements.
- Support US revenue accounting and work across global revenue recognition aspects.
- Document current processes and controls.
- Prepare journal entries for revenue and transfer costs, and perform account reconciliations.
- Upload financial data to corporate consolidation system and manage reporting using advanced Excel skills.
- Maintain revenue amortization schedules, purchase price variance analysis, and provision analysis.
- Communicate and partner with FP&A, Auditors, Accounting, Tax, Supply Chain, and other business experts.
- Utilize project management experience for analysis and investigation tasks.
- Adapt working hours as needed to support US-based colleagues.
