Summary: This role is for a Financial Accountant at a global brand known for high-end production and technology. The position involves financial accounting, management forecasting, and supporting various accounting functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Accounts Manager and contribute to both group reporting and statutory accounts preparation. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial accounting covering fixed and variable cost centre reporting, alongside core transactional activities.
- Supporting with annual management forecasting.
- Supporting the Purchase Ledger Supervisor.
- Goods in transit calculations and reconciliations.
- Adjustments for group reporting purposes.
- Control of central HQ cost recharges.
- Supporting with monthly group reporting and preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Liaising with Auditors.
- Driving internal process improvements.
Key Skills:
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified.
- Experience of covering financial accounting, VAT and tax within a UK organisation.
- Able to demonstrate solid experience within industry.
- Keen to identify improvements and efficiencies across the function.
- Able to interpret data and communicate findings accordingly.
- Skilled in Excel with good analytical skills.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
