Summary: The role of Financial Accountant FTC involves managing financial reporting, balance sheet control, and budgeting support within a not-for-profit organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly and annual financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.
- Managing cash flow reporting, fixed assets and capital expenditure.
- Assisting with audits, VAT returns and statutory compliance.
- Reviewing financial controls and identifying process improvements.
- Providing financial analysis and insight to support decision-making.
Key Skills:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or similar role.
- Strong financial reporting, reconciliations and month-end accounting experience.
- Knowledge of audits, statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive with a focus on process improvement and continuous development.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a key role within the finance team, responsible for financial reporting, balance sheet control, budgeting support and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
