Summary: The Financial Accountant role is a 16-month fixed-term contract based in Camberley, requiring a fully qualified Senior Finance Professional to manage statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors. The position involves preparing consolidated accounts, handling HMRC matters, and supporting the Financial Controller in financial management. Candidates must be available at short notice and commit to the contract duration. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with competitive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of the year-end Statutory Accounts and manage the audit process with external Auditors.
• Handle all HMRC/Customs matters of the business, including VAT, Corporation Tax, and PAYE.
• Prepare Quarterly Consolidated Accounts and monthly Management Accounts, focusing particularly on the accounting of accruals and prepayments.
• Manage treasury processes, including relevant reporting and forecasting.
• Support the Financial Controller in the management and development of internal controls and processes.
• Assist with the preparation of the Annual Plan and liaise with Accounts Payable.
• Perform ad-hoc duties, including departmental cover during holidays and absences as required.
• Ensure compliance with company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Skills:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial management and statutory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and requirements.
• Experience in treasury management and cash flow forecasting.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and financial forecasts.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with various departments.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
