Finance Transformation -Transactional Services - SAP S/4HANA - Manchester Airport, Manchester (M90), M90 1QX
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Transformation Subject Matter Expert (Transactional Services) to join a major finance transformation programme focused on the implementation of SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for Order to Cash and Accounts Payable processes throughout the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
- Partner with finance stakeholders, IT teams and SAP consultants to understand current processes and design future solutions.
- Provide expertise across billing, collections, credit control, accounts payable and transactional finance operations.
- Translate finance requirements into functional specifications for SAP S/4HANA.
- Support the design, testing and implementation of new finance processes.
- Lead and support testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support data migration activities including cleansing, mapping and validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and ways of working across transactional finance.
- Support change management, training and user adoption activities.
- Assist with go-live preparation, cutover planning and post-implementation improvements.
- Work closely with solution architects and developers to ensure solutions are scalable and aligned with business needs.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working with SAP, ideally within finance modules.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash, Accounts Payable, billing or credit control processes.
- Experience improving finance processes or supporting transformation projects.
- Ability to work with both finance stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with SAP implementation or ERP transformation projects would be advantageous.
- A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) is desirable but not essential.
