Summary: The Finance Transformation Manager will lead a high-profile end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementation for a PE-backed global media organization, primarily working remotely with occasional site visits to India. This strategic role focuses on enhancing finance operations, systems, and project delivery to meet private equity-driven objectives. The position requires a hands-on approach to influence finance processes and operational best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of NetSuite Financials module (full lifecycle: discovery, design, testing, hypercare).
- Transition from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to NetSuite, ensuring a scalable and cost-effective finance solution.
- Define scope and boundaries for transformation; establish "what good looks like" for finance processes.
- Drive best-practice design for key finance processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Record-to-Report (R2R), Quality Control and other finance operations.
- Challenge and align tower leads to ensure adherence to scope and standards.
- Partner with the business to bring operational processes to PE-level readiness, including governance, controls, and reporting improvements.
- Deliver all transformation activities on time and to high quality, including discovery, design, implementation, testing, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Ensure smooth transition off Dynamics 365 by Q4 2026.
- Provide matrix leadership, mentoring, and motivation for finance operations teams (UK and APAC).
- Influence stakeholders across finance, IT, and external consultants to achieve transformation goals.
- Support the development of internal talent through coaching and guidance.
- Strengthen existing finance transformation governance.
- Monitor dependencies and risks, cost-saving initiatives, and ERP timelines.
- Potential to contribute to emerging technology initiatives, including AI-enabled finance processes, following ERP stabilisation.
Key Skills:
- Proven end-to-end ERP implementation experience, ideally NetSuite.
- Strong finance transformation expertise, including process reengineering, reporting, and data models.
- Experience in high-pressure, fast-paced, PE-backed environments.
- Excellent mentoring, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude and adaptability.
- Exposure to multiple ERP implementations.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience (desirable).
