Summary: A leading global professional services firm is looking for a Programme Director to spearhead a significant SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role involves strategic and delivery leadership in a complex global setting over a 12-month fixed-term contract as part of a larger multi-year initiative. The position requires extensive experience in managing SAP transformations and engaging with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background and proven leadership skills in cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end to end delivery of a global SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and boards to align outcomes with business strategy.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage vendors, contracts, and performance.
- Ensure robust governance, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Promote change adoption and deliver sustainable, compliant solutions across regions.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience leading at least two full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformations within a complex and highly regulated environment.
- Strong Finance background, ideally having operated as a Finance Business Lead, with a deep understanding of finance processes and how they translate into SAP design.
- Strong functional and technical SAP experience, including migration, integration and deployment experience.
- Proven ability to influence and engage at board and executive level, managing complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and third-party delivery partners.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent Finance leadership experience is highly advantageous.
