Summary: As a Finance Transformation Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the Finance Transformation Programme by producing essential documentation and supporting the implementation of improved financial processes. This hybrid position requires strong organizational, technical, and partnering skills to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Your expertise in finance and process documentation will be vital in assessing and enhancing finance workflows. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to develop training materials and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design ‘to be’ processes and ensure concise documentation of process flows and narratives.
- Create procedure manuals for the implementation of new processes.
- Develop and deliver training on new processes across the business.
- Conduct finance process analysis by engaging with stakeholders in finance, accounting, and operations.
- Document finance processes, creating clear process flows, SOPs, and training materials.
- Analyze finance workflows to identify risks, compliance issues, and operational inefficiencies.
- Develop, document, and organize user-friendly SOPs for finance processes in line with compliance requirements.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in documenting finance or operational processes, with strong skills in process mapping (Visio preferred).
- Background in transformation projects or change management initiatives.
- Analytical skills to assess complex finance workflows and identify areas for improvement.
