Summary: The Finance Systems Project Manager (NetSuite) role involves leading and managing multiple finance system initiatives within a fast-growing technology organization. This hands-on position requires effective project delivery while ensuring compliance with accounting controls. The role is predominantly remote with occasional travel to London and is outside IR35. The contract is for three months with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead milestones across multiple concurrent finance system initiatives including NetSuite and related systems
- Manage stakeholders across Finance and Operations
- Act as the interface between Finance and Operations on data requirements and processes
- Track actions and follow-ups, ensuring progress against project plans
- Bring rigour and organisation to evolving project timelines and deliverables
- Drive master data governance, process improvements, and compliance documentation
- Ensure all projects are delivered efficiently without performing technical implementations
Key Skills:
- Experience in accounting or finance environments
- Strong understanding of SOX or similar compliance controls
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Exposure to finance systems, especially NetSuite (essential)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Able to handle ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Calm under pressure, organised, and credible with stakeholders
- Brings energy, structure, and a proactive approach to project delivery

About the Role
We are partnering with a fast-growing technology organisation to find a highly organised and execution-focused Finance Systems Project Manager (NetSuite) to support operational accounting systems.
Core Purpose:
- Lead and manage project milestones across multiple ongoing finance system initiatives
- Bring structure, leadership, and oversight to fast-moving projects
- This is not an implementation role; execution is handled internally
- You will manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with accounting controls and compliance requirements.
- This is a hands-on project management role requiring active engagement across Finance, IT, Procurement, Revenue, Payroll, and other operations teams.
- You will translate accounting and data requirements into structured project plans and ensure systems scale effectively with business growth.
