Summary: The Finance Systems Project Manager role involves leading the implementation of a new finance system and a purchasing system within a large public sector organization on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract. Your new company A large public sector organisation is looking to recruit a Finance Systems Project Manager to help implement a new finance system on a 9 - 12-month contract. The preference is for this to be done as a fixed-term contract.

Your new role Reporting into the Head of Finance and Finance Systems Manager, this role will lead the concurrent delivery of two critical transformation projects. This will include:

  • Manage a multidisciplinary project team working closely with Finance, Commercial and Technology teams
  • Oversee 2 critical projects to ensure dependencies are managed on time and on budget.
  • The first project will help transition from one finance system to another.
  • The second will help implement a purchasing system.
  • Work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders to ensure that all parties are taken into consideration.

What you'll need to succeed We are ideally looking for someone with project management and finance systems implementation experience. This is a contract to start ASAP, so ideally you will be located close to Bristol and available, either immediately or on short notice.
