Interim Finance Systems Implementation Support (Vena) OUTSIDE IR35

Duration: 6 months

Location: Stockport (Hybrid - couple days per week onsite)

Role Overview: Our key client is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Implementation Support Contractor to assist with the ongoing rollout of Vena (FP&A / planning & analysis platform). The business has recently completed its initial go-live phase and now requires additional hands-on expertise to support the next stages of implementation, integration, and optimisation. This is a delivery-focused role sitting at the intersection of Finance, FP&A, and IT, requiring strong systems knowledge, problem-solving capability, and comfort working directly with stakeholders to drive progress.

Programme Overview:

  • Implementation of a modern FP&A planning and analysis platform (Vena)
  • Transition away from fragmented, spreadsheet-based planning
  • Initial phase already live, with further rollout and enhancements underway
  • Upcoming work includes:
    • Systems and data integrations
    • Onboarding additional business units and legal entities
    • Expanding functionality (e.g., balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Excel will continue to be used on the front end initially, with a longer-term shift toward a more digital finance environment
