Summary: The Finance Systems Consultant role at an exciting company in Edinburgh focuses on driving process improvements, automation, and system continuity within finance systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Power Platforms suite, including Power Automate workflows, ensuring security and compliance with Microsoft updates.
• Support and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, working across UK and international teams to optimise processes and resolve system challenges.
• Collaborate with data, security, and infrastructure teams to improve finance systems and drive cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate system updates, testing, and deployments, minimising disruptions to operations.
• Lead automation initiatives using AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
• Own data integrity, system maintenance, and audit compliance, including ERP data management.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporter, Power BI configuration, and Microsoft data infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, SQL scripts, Visual Studio, and virtual environments.
• Understanding of coding languages, like C#.
• Proactive management of finance systems licensing and vendor relationships.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills for documentation and training.
