Finance Systems Accountant

Summary: The Finance Systems Accountant role is pivotal in ensuring the ERP system effectively manages transaction processes post-go-live, focusing on accounts payable (AP) ledger accuracy and timely reconciliations. The position involves system configuration, process documentation, training, and go-live support, requiring collaboration with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, particularly in P2P and invoice management, along with advanced Oracle system knowledge. Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of the Global Design and P2P end-to-end process to support the ERP program and validate system processes.
• Support in closing out configuration issues and design gaps, including reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AP Invoice Management processes.
• Provide training and support to key users on using the ERP system for payment transactions.
• Serve as the primary contact for AP Ledger Management issues during the ERP go-live phase.
• Monitor system performance to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing.

Key Skills:

• Previous finance experience with a focus on P2P, invoice management, EDI, and reconciliation activities.
• Detailed Oracle system knowledge is highly desirable.
• Expertise in problem-solving and reconciliation activities.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
• Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel and ticket management systems.
• Ability to work proactively and autonomously.
• Strong analytical experience.
• Ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams in a project environment.
