Summary: The Finance Specialist / Team Coordinator role is situated within a major Dutch utility and infrastructure provider, focusing on financial operations that support the energy transition. The position involves accurate financial administration, reporting processes, and coordination within the Record-to-Report (R2R) team. The specialist will collaborate with various internal stakeholders and assist in managing team priorities and tasks. This role offers the potential for permanent employment after one year of contract work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance
  • Assist in financial reporting and internal controls
  • Coordinate day-to-day work within the team and serve as first point of contact
  • Support process improvements and data quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues across the organisation
  • Provide support in the absence of the team lead

Key Skills:

  • Completed HBO or WO degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial control, reporting, or accounting
  • Experience working with SAP (FI/CO) and understanding of Record-to-Report processes
  • Some experience leading or coordinating a team is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch
  • Proactive, structured, and comfortable working with different departments
