Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate strategically with finance teams and business stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives.
  • Provide end-to-end financial management for corporate projects, including feasibility studies and budget development.
  • Produce financial modelling and analysis for project appraisals.
  • Manage multiple high-impact programmes, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain project plans with clear timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and support process improvements to enhance financial performance.
  • Provide ongoing support and training during project implementation.
  • Act as a strategic negotiator and influencer with stakeholders.
  • Present financial data and project outcomes to senior leadership teams.
  • Mentor and support the finance team to achieve financial and operational targets.

Key Skills:

  • Strong reporting and presentation skills for complex financial data.
  • Ability to create and explain detailed financial appraisal models.
  • Experience in stock rationalisation and strategic asset management.
  • Understanding of financial reporting structures.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience in housing and understanding of Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs).
  • Extensive experience in managing complex financial systems and projects.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Financial qualification such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Project management certification is highly desirable.
