Main Responsibilities
- As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring agreed scope, timescales, budgets and business outcomes are achieved.
- Working with cross-functional teams, you'll build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical specialists and third-party suppliers to keep projects moving forward whilst proactively managing risks, dependencies and governance.
- You'll be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of business and systems change projects.
- Creating and maintaining project plans, governance documentation, RAID logs and status reporting.
- Managing project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.
- Coordinating internal teams, external suppliers and delivery partners.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Supporting business change and user adoption throughout project delivery.
- Preparing steering committee papers, executive updates and project reporting.
- Driving continuous improvement and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
- Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed governance frameworks and quality expectations.
- Initially, you'll focus on a major enterprise systems programme, before supporting a broader portfolio of transformation initiatives across the business.
The Ideal Candidate
- We're looking for an organised and collaborative Project Manager who enjoys bringing people together and delivering successful change.
- You'll be confident managing multiple stakeholders, navigating competing priorities and driving projects through to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- You'll have:
- Proven experience delivering business or systems transformation projects.
- Experience managing software implementations, upgrades or business change programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk and budget management experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high delivery standards.
- A recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM or equivalent.
