Finance Project Manager - 12 month FTC - Sandgate, Folkestone (CT20), CT20 3SE

Main Responsibilities

• As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring agreed scope, timescales, budgets and business outcomes are achieved.
• Working with cross-functional teams, you'll build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical specialists and third-party suppliers to keep projects moving forward whilst proactively managing risks, dependencies and governance.
• You'll be responsible for:
• Leading end-to-end delivery of business and systems change projects.
• Creating and maintaining project plans, governance documentation, RAID logs and status reporting.
• Managing project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.
• Coordinating internal teams, external suppliers and delivery partners.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Supporting business change and user adoption throughout project delivery.
• Preparing steering committee papers, executive updates and project reporting.
• Driving continuous improvement and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
• Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed governance frameworks and quality expectations.
• Initially, you'll focus on a major enterprise systems programme, before supporting a broader portfolio of transformation initiatives across the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• We're looking for an organised and collaborative Project Manager who enjoys bringing people together and delivering successful change.
• You'll be confident managing multiple stakeholders, navigating competing priorities and driving projects through to completion in a fast-paced environment.
• You'll have:
• Proven experience delivering business or systems transformation projects.
• Experience managing software implementations, upgrades or business change programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong project planning, governance, risk and budget management experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high delivery standards.
• A recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM or equivalent.
