Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership and review of claims bordereaux data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and third parties to validate claims information
- Supporting reporting and analysis of claims performance
- Lead and support finance and operations-focused projects (e.g. process improvements, system changes)
- Drive delivery timelines, stakeholder coordination, and implementation
- Identify opportunities to improve controls, efficiency, and data quality
- End-to-end payroll oversight, working with external providers where applicable
- Ensure accuracy of payroll processing, reconciliations, and related reporting
- Maintain compliance with tax and statutory requirements
- Support month-end close processes including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Assist with financial reporting and audit deliverables
- Maintain strong financial controls and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
Key Skills:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience within insurance, financial services, or a similar regulated environment
- Strong exposure to claims bordereaux / insurance data
- Demonstrated experience in project management or change initiatives
- Hands-on payroll experience
- Solid grounding in general accounting / financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a broad, evolving role
