Key Responsibilities:

• Perform SOX scoping in accordance with Finance FIM requirements and Group SOX instructions.
• Ensure SOX documentation of all in-scope processes is validated, up to date, and compliant.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders to identify potential SOX deficiencies.
• Perform deficiency aggregation and follow up on issues to ensure timely closure.
• Collaborate with Assurance teams on independent reviews of the control environment.
• Work with external auditors to meet SOX compliance testing requirements.
• Manage SOX control related management information and develop process understanding.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Non-Financial Risk framework, risk and controls, and audit/SOX compliance procedures.
• Control testing experience with Operational Risk, Internal or External Audit.
• Experience in process mapping and risk/control identification.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
• General understanding of HSBC's Core Banking processes is desirable.
