Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly management reports, prepayments, accruals, and variance analysis
- Approve purchase orders, journals, and interdepartmental transfers
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders on procurement and finance matters
- Provide cover for team members and assist with training colleagues on finance systems
- Maintain finance documentation and respond promptly to mailbox queries

Essential Qualifications & Skills
Experience with Oracle required
Proven experience in finance administration, including use of large finance systems
Confident Excel user (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
Strong numeracy, accuracy, and organisational abilities
Effective communication skills, particularly for non-finance audiences
Desirable
Experience in higher education or publishing finance roles
Familiarity with systems such as MyFinance, Axiom, ALMA, Salesforce
Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA or CIMA
Budget forecasting experience
