Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all transactional finance activities including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Manage supplier payments, approvals, and relationships
  • Ensure accurate posting of invoices, expenses, and reconciliations
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across all financial data
  • Take full ownership of cashflow forecasting and monitoring
  • Manage short- and medium-term cashflow planning
  • Optimise working capital and ensure effective cash management processes
  • Provide regular cashflow reporting and insights to senior leadership
  • Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reports
  • Assist with year-end and audit processes
  • Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Manage and mentor a small finance team (up to 2 individuals)

  • Ensure high standards of accuracy and accountability within the team

Key Skills:

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

With continued growth, we are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager / Financial Controller to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, ensure strong financial control, and support the business with accurate, timely reporting.

The Role

This is a highly operational and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail while also supporting business decision-making. You will take ownership of core finance processes, with a particular focus on cashflow management, accounts payable, and maintaining robust financial controls. You will also manage and support a small finance team (up to 2 people), ensuring efficient and accurate delivery across all finance activities.
