Summary: The Finance Manager role involves overseeing financial operations for a major logistics and supply chain company, focusing on P&L preparation, business partnering, and financial modeling. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and report weekly P&L to Group and Open Book reporting to the Customer.
- Business partnering with senior leadership team members.
- Assist with annual budget preparation and financial modeling for business cases.
- Track performance against forecasts and report on financial or operational variances.
- Develop strong relationships with the Customer and enhance commercial awareness among non-finance budget holders.
- Report and monitor key performance indicators to support service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to contractual commitments and deliverables.
- Participate in regular team and site meetings.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) or relevant experience.
- Experience in the warehousing and logistics sector.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in performance tracking and reporting.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of budget drivers.
