Summary: The role of Finance Manager is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Walsall, focusing on the management and development of a finance team within a manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily cash flow, overseeing credit control, processing supplier payments, and preparing cash forecasts
• Assisting with and reviewing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and reporting monthly financial results
• Processing quarterly VAT returns
• Overseeing and facilitating annual audit and tax return support for third-party financial advisors
• Reviewing and enhancing processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy

Key Skills:

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified (or QBE with at least 10 years experience)
• Previous experience of managing a finance team
• Experience working for SMEs
• Experience in a manufacturing company preferred
