Summary: The Finance Manager role at Adele Carr Recruitment involves overseeing a team of three accountants while directly reporting to the Finance Director. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and draft review of all aspects of the monthly management accounts
• Ensure the constant review of GL for accurate allocations of postings
• Review monthly divisional reports and reconcile them to group
• Monitor stock control processes throughout the business
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
• Review all bank reconciliations for relevant bank accounts
• Ensure all bank mandates are up to date
• Distribute bank-related information as required by the business
• Handle bank-related queries and process various BACS payments on Santander
• Close the accounting period in a timely manner
• Ensure VAT treatment is in line with regulations and produce monthly VAT returns
• Review reporting packs for decision-making support
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with external bodies such as the External Audit Team and Tax Consultants
• Assist in the production of yearly statutory accounts
• Post accruals and prepayments journals
• Continuously improve reports and systems for efficiency

Key Skills:

• Experience in accounting and finance management
• Manufacturing sector experience (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to start immediately or at short notice
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
