Summary: We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Digital & Technology Finance team within Record to Report at a multinational high-street retailer. The role involves strong business partnering capabilities and managing a team to deliver high-quality outputs. The position is based in Salford Quays, Manchester, with a hybrid working arrangement. The contract duration is 6 months, and the role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and encouraging a team of 5 reports to deliver high-quality outputs, driving a continuous improvement mentality and a can-do attitude.
- Ensuring the large volume of tasks and queries are managed effectively, within a timely resolution, and aligned to the timetable key to successful delivery.
- Developing the team to work collaboratively with London Finance business partners to ensure the financials are reflected accurately.
- Facilitating a collaborative working environment through strong Business Partner engagement, managing regular dialogue to drive improved performance.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Exceptional business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Line management experience, managing teams through transition and change.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience of using SAP, but not essential.
- Strong accounting skills with previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment/shared service centre.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
