Finance Manager (12-Month FTC)
Immediate Start Required | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Our client, a highly respected global organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Due to business requirements, candidates must be available to start immediately or at short notice.
This role is ideally suited to a practice-trained qualified accountant with a strong background in audit, who has subsequently gained experience within a complex international business environment. You'll lead a remote finance team, oversee reporting activities, and partner with stakeholders across a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a remote finance team
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting processes
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance
- Manage balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
- Support statutory reporting and external audit requirements
- Partner with senior stakeholders across international markets
- Drive process improvement and reporting efficiencies
- Support ERP system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Previous audit experience is essential
- Ideally trained within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Proven Finance Manager experience within a complex business environment
- Experience working within a global organisation is essential, ideally a US-headquartered business
- Experience managing and developing remote teams
- Strong financial reporting, controls and compliance knowledge
- SAP or other ERP systems experience would be highly advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Recent and relevant UK finance experience
- Full right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
- Immediately available
