Interim Finance Manager £60-65K (3 month FTC) Central London (Hybrid Working - 3 days in) My client is a media company and are looking for a Finance Manager for 3 months. There is a possible opportunity that it might extend.
Duties Include:
- Managing a small team of 3 in AP and AR
- Responsible for the team’s balance sheet reconciliations – ensuring accurate and timely monthly completion and swift resolution of outstanding items.
- Assist with the statutory audit, this includes making sure all schedules and samples for the year-end statutory audits are prepared accurately and on time.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of the reports and any other statutory reporting required
- Responsible for the effective and efficient workflow and performance of the Accounts Receivable team, against defined goals and objectives, to ensure an excellent service is delivered to the business.
- To provide a high-level accounts receivable service to the Broadcast function, ensuring billing is accurate and debt is managed effectively to set targets.
- Business partnering, performance tracking and updates to the business as required around areas such as aged debt, key risks and payment plans.
- Responsible for the effective and efficient workflow and performance of the Accounts Payable and expenses function, against defined goals and objectives, to ensure an excellent service is delivered to the business.
- To provide a high-level accounts receivable service to the Broadcast function, ensuring billing is accurate and debt is managed effectively to set targets.
- Ensuring Finance procedures, controls and policies are written and adhered to
- Ad-hoc analysis and project work
- To take full responsibility for the performance management of the team to ensure that quality and deadlines are achieved and maintained and that any issues are managed in line with company policies and procedures.
- To train, develop and motivate direct reports and ensure the delivery of high performance, acting as an enthusiastic, positive, and motivated role model.
- To provide one to one mentoring, coaching and organise training as appropriate to direct reports ensuring needs are met and results evaluated.
- To support the department in day-to-day duties as and when required in order to achieve deadlines whilst always maintaining quality.
