Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and monthly/quarterly reporting for the programme, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with donor and internal requirements.
- Oversee donor financial reporting, grant tracking, cost recovery, and budget approvals for partners and sub-grants, ensuring proper compliance and documentation.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls, perform reconciliations, and ensure adherence to internal policies and donor regulations.
- Line manage a Finance Officer, providing guidance, performance oversight, and professional development.
- Develop and maintain financial tools and trackers, support audits, and collaborate with programme and finance teams across global locations.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified or QBE accountant (CCAB or equivalent).
- At least 5 years' experience in financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experience with donor-funded programmes and international development preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, Excel and process improvement skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work across diverse teams.
