Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the month-end process
- Performing month-end procedures in accounting software including all Journals, Cash book reconciliations, and Daybook Close out
- Responsibility for the maintenance and processing of accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Presenting results at routine meetings with budget holders
- Assisting with the annual budgetary and forecast process
- Providing information to budget holders upon request
- Reviewing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
Key Skills:
- Good understanding of operational and financial issues in a manufacturing business
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- Experience with ERP system functions and financial systems
