Summary: The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting for an international development and project management firm specializing in luxury hospitality and residential properties. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and effective management of ongoing projects. The position is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This is a 9-12 month contract based in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Financial Controller with the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reporting across the group entities
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including expenditure and cash flow forecasting
  • Monitor financial performance and highlight any material variances or risks
  • Support the management and development of junior finance team members
  • Ensure robust financial controls, processes, and procedures are maintained across the business
  • Partner with stakeholders across the company to identify efficiencies and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, legal, and reporting requirements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and best practice electronic filing procedures
  • Support wider finance projects and ad hoc business requirements where needed

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience operating at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level
  • Strong management accounting, reporting, and forecasting experience
  • Experience working within multi-entity or project-based environments
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable approach
  • Previous experience within property, construction, hospitality, or consultancy environments would be advantageous

Salary (Rate): £100,000.00 yearly
