Summary: The Finance Manager role at Summer-Browning Associates involves overseeing intercompany transfer pricing and R&D cost allocation activities within the automotive industry. The position requires close collaboration with stakeholders and ownership of the largest functional budget in the business. This is an initial 9-month hybrid assignment based in Crewe. The ideal candidate will possess a chartered accounting qualification and relevant experience in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for intercompany transfer pricing and R&D cost allocation activities.
- Manage the largest functional budget within the business.
- Control and deliver the R&D overheads budget.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Key Skills:
- Recognised chartered accounting qualification (ACA, or ICAS).
- 3+ years PQE experience in a finance role.
- Experience operating within ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to challenge and influence effectively.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders up to Board level.
- Strong analytical skills for comprehensive analysis.

Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client within the autmotive industry, who are seeking a Finance Manager on an initial 9 month assignment. Location: Crewe (hybrid)
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Intercompany & Overheads Finance Manager you'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders and will be the main point of contact for all related intercompany transfer pricing and R&D cost allocation activities within the Group. As the Intercompany & Overheads Finance Manager you'll have ownership of the largest functional budget within the business. You will also be responsible for control & delivery of the R&D overheads budget.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will hold a recognised chartered accounting qualification (ACA, or ICAS), with 3+ years PQE experience in a finance role.
- Experience operating within ambiguous environments, building and establishing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to challenge and influence effectively
- Experience engaging with and presenting to stakeholders up to Board level
- Strong analytical skills and experience producing comprehensive analysis to support decision making, including identifying risks and opportunities
