Summary: The Finance Manager role involves overseeing the financial operations of a respected organization located on the outskirts of Bath. The position requires ensuring efficient financial management and control to support business activities, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. The successful candidate will manage daily financial operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This is a temporary assignment with a duration of 12-15 months, offering hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- VAT management.
- Completion of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and journals.
- Reconciliation of bank and control accounts.
- Cashflow monitoring.
Key Skills:
- AAT qualified/part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in a finance management role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
