Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function day-to-day, including cashflow management and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and board reporting.
- Enhance reporting by building out management accounts and developing forecasting.
- Drive better insights for the leadership team.
- Collaborate with Sales to link financial performance with commercial activity.
- Attend weekly sales and board meetings.
- Oversee one Finance Administrator.
Key Skills:
- Relevant ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, or qualified by experience (QBE).

Profile
A successful Head of Finance should:
- Either posses a relevant ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or be qualified by experience (QBE)
- Have experience gained in management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
- Possess commercial awareness, with the ability to translate numbers into insight
- Be excited by the prospect of working in a close-knit SME with a family culture
- Have a hands-on, collaborative approach with a "roll sleeves up" attitude
Job Offer
Salary circa £50,000 to £55,000 level dependent on experience
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Flexible / hybrid working - typically 3 days in the office, 2 days from home and flex with start / finish times
Permanent contract with full time hours
