Summary: A proactive Finance Manager is sought by a growing creative production company to support the finance function during a transitional period. The role involves financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvements while assisting with audits and ad-hoc finance projects. The position reports to the Financial Controller and requires a part-qualified accountant with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation in line with GAAP & IFRS
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and prepare related financial reports
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and manage accruals
- Identify and recommend improvements to finance processes
- Support financial audits and ensure compliance with tax requirements
- Oversee financial admin, including entity and bank account management
- Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks and special projects as needed
Key Skills:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in media or entertainment
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Available on relatively short notice
