Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
  • Delivering financial insights and analysis to support senior decision-makers
  • Leading the month-end close process and ensuring accurate financial records
  • Supporting cash flow planning and forecasting
  • Ensuring compliance with tax and VAT requirements
  • Assisting the wider team with ad hoc financial tasks and initiatives
  • Working closely with stakeholders to enhance financial visibility and support strategic decisions

Key Skills:

  • Proven financial management experience, ideally in a scale-up or PE-backed business
  • Strong Excel capabilities and keen attention to detail
  • Experience with Netsuite or multiple accounting systems
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards qualification
  • Candidates must have previously worked within a fintech or financial service start-up or scale-up business

Harmonic is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed scale-up to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based in London (Hybrid), offering the chance to play a key role in a fast-paced environment during a pivotal phase of growth.

The Role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing core financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and driving improvements across the finance team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience within a start-up or PE-backed, finance setting and be confident operating in a fast-moving, evolving business.
