Summary: The Finance Policy & Procedure Implementation Specialist will lead the review and redesign of finance policies and operational procedures within an organization. This role aims to establish a compliant finance framework that aligns with governance and regulatory requirements while enhancing efficiency across finance operations. The specialist will also engage stakeholders and support the implementation of standardized finance processes. This position is critical in driving finance governance and operational consistency during a large-scale transformation project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and enhance existing finance policies and procedures
- Develop standardised finance frameworks, SOPs, and process documentation
- Map current and future-state finance processes across key areas including P2P, O2C, R2R, treasury, tax, fixed assets, and financial planning
- Identify process gaps, risks, and control improvements
- Align procedures with audit, compliance, and internal control requirements
- Support implementation, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption
- Ensure alignment with ERP/finance systems and recommend control enhancements where required
Key Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in finance transformation, finance operations, or policy/procedure implementation
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance, audit, and compliance frameworks
- Experience documenting finance processes, SOPs, and controls
- ERP systems experience (Oracle or similar preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and change management skills
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification preferred
- Experience in regulated environments
- SOX/internal controls exposure highly regarded

This role will focus on building a scalable and compliant finance framework aligned with governance, audit, and regulatory requirements while improving consistency and efficiency across finance operations.
