Key Responsibilities
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and journal processing
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis
- Prepare and support monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting and group reporting requirements
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and company policies
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and provide finance support as required
- Help maintain finance documentation and controls during the ERP implementation
About You
- Previous experience within a Finance Generalist, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or Assistant Controller role
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment would be advantageous
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience of ERP implementations or system migrations is desirable
- A proactive and hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential
- Qualified by experience candidates are encouraged to apply
