Summary: The Finance Executive role is a 2-month temporary position based in Glasgow, focusing on managing purchase and sales ledgers, and supporting month-end financial duties. Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and maintaining purchase ledger records.
  • Credit Control.
  • Managing expenses and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Assisting with month-end tasks such as posting journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Oversee and manage the contents and correspondence within the mailbox.
  • Process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements and assist with supplier payments.
  • Assist the senior finance team with any requirements or further duties.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations.
  • Being on hand to support the finance and get involved in various projects.

Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting for a Finance Executive to join a thriving organisation based in Glasgow. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in transactional finance, reporting, and planning. The role is a 37.5-hour working week, with flexible start and finish times. A hybrid working arrangement of 2 days at home a week is available, however only once training and onboarding has been completed.
Your new role
As a Finance Executive, you will play a key role in managing the purchase ledger, sales ledger and supporting critical month-end duties. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
