Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the small finance team, manage all day-to-day accounting activity.

- Own the budgeting and forecasting process (including WIP), understand and report on all variances.
- Deliver deep dive financial analysis and commercial insight to help guide and drive the decision-making process.
- Provide input and support to the business on various commercial activities i.e., pricing.
- Assess and where necessary implement processes and systems improvements to improve controls and efficiency.

Finance Director | Six-month fixed term contract | Media sector | SME | London I am recruiting a hands-on Finance Director for a c 5m turnover media client. This hire will initially be on a six-month fixed term contract basis. Ideally an immediate start. Reporting to the CEO you will oversee all financial activity (Financial Control, Financial Reporting and FP&A) and act as the key business partner to the CEO and rest of the Senior Leadership Team to help drive business performance. Your responsibilities will be varied, as is the case in a dynamic, SME media environment, but will include: Lead and develop the small finance team, manage all day-to-day accounting activity.
