Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership, managing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, tax, treasury, and internal controls.
  • Produce accurate and timely statutory accounts, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support growth initiatives including acquisitions, integrations, and long-term investment planning.
  • Lead on budgeting and cash flow forecasting, providing insight and recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee financial strategies to maximise profitability, reduce costs, and ensure robust cash flow management.
  • Drive process improvements and financial controls across the business.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and procurement team.
  • Oversee purchasing to ensure effective supplier management, accurate demand forecasting, and stock availability.
  • Act as a key decision maker for procurement, financial risk, and business planning.

Key Skills:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical finance skills with the ability to manage end-to-end financial processes.
  • Proven experience in acquisitions, integrations, and strategic growth planning.
  • Ideally have experience of the manufacturing sector.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels.
