Summary: The role of Interim Senior Finance Director involves overseeing a finance team within a 27 million T/O international manufacturing business in Bath. The position requires full management of financial processes and controls, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting while maximizing operational value. The candidate will report directly to the CEO and may transition to a permanent role. On-site presence is preferred for this interim position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line management of the accounts team covering all aspects of financial/treasury processes and rigorous control.
• Ensure accurate and improving systems, processes, and controls for cash flow and financial forecasting and reporting.
• Ownership of standard costing and estimating models and standard cost maintenance/reporting.
• Management of forecasts/budgets, fixed cost management, production, and waste reporting.
• Providing financial support/input to the senior team and commercial activities.
• Control of stock/working capital and the capital expenditure process.

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience of using SAP or similar systems.
• Skilled in the use of Excel and other MS Office modules.
• Ability to work efficiently and to challenging deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
