Summary: The role of Interim Senior Finance Director involves overseeing a finance team within a £27 million turnover international manufacturing business in Bath. The position requires daily on-site presence and includes responsibilities such as managing financial processes, forecasting, and providing financial support to the senior team. This interim role may transition to a permanent position as the business seeks a long-term finance director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line management of the accounts team covering all aspects of financial/treasury processes and rigorous control.
• Ensure accurate and improving systems, processes, and controls for cash flow and financial forecasting and reporting.
• Ownership of standard costing and estimating models and standard cost maintenance/reporting.
• Management of forecasts/budgets, fixed cost management, production, and waste reporting.
• Providing financial support/input to the senior team and commercial activities.
• Control of stock/working capital and the capital expenditure process.

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience of using SAP or similar systems.
• Skilled in the use of Excel and other MS Office modules.
• Ability to work efficiently and to challenging deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
