Tax Finance Data Analyst

The Finance Data Analyst is responsible for collaborating with team members to collect, analyze, and structure large data sets to derive actionable insights that will inform business decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.

• Structure large data sets to find usable information.

• Process information with the project team and business sponsor.

• Consult with business sponsor and SMEs to identify improvement opportunities.

• Create reports for internal teams and/or stakeholders.

• Visualize data gaps and mitigation possibilities in a professional format.

• Verify the source of the data independently, extract data, and coordinate with relevant team members.

Key Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data collection and processing.

• Experience in structuring and visualizing data sets.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and with business sponsors.

• Experience with data visualization tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI).

• Knowledge of business improvement processes.

• Familiarity with financial data analysis or accounting principles.
