We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our Retail Finance team on a 12 months fixed term contract . Partnering the Payroll Team and leading the management accounts process for Retail Finance you will play an integral role in supporting store performance.  You will get the opportunity to work directly with the exec and retail senior leadership team, with responsibility for one of our largest cost bases.  The Role: The Purpose of the Role:   Key Responsibilities: Business Partner to Retail Payroll Team:  Collaborate with and challenge business to deliver against Retail Payroll budget  Analyse performance producing meaningful reporting and insights  Support the forecasting process  Lead annual budget and long-range planning for Retail Payroll  Management Accounts for UK and Ireland Branch Costs:  Lead the month-end process for UK and Ireland Retail Branch Costs (Retail Payroll, Occupancy and Operating Costs), across P&L and balance sheets  Ensure sufficient controls and processes are in place  Develop and maintain robust and accurate actual financial information within the management accounts to support strategic decision making  Lead in-depth month end reviews with Finance business partners and leadership team  Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and efficient  Point of contact for year end audit  Line management:  Day to day management of 1 direct report  Ensure learning and development needs are met by setting objectives and effective coaching  Location: This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B.
