Summary: The Finance Business Partner for Retail at Holland & Barrett will play a crucial role in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making for over 800 UK & Ireland stores. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead forecasting and reporting for retail revenue across 800+ stores.
- Partner with Stores and retail ops teams to shape and validate store-level profitability.
- Deliver timely, insightful financial reporting (weekly, monthly, ad hoc) and translate data into actionable insight.
- Champion financial discipline across store operating costs and capital investment, identifying risks, savings, and efficiencies.
- Lead FP&A activity for the retail function, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Support automation and AI-led transformation initiatives in finance, collaborating with analysts and transformation teams to enhance reporting capability.
- Influence strategic decisions by engaging senior non-finance stakeholders and explaining financial implications with clarity and precision.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong understanding of revenue forecasting and financial planning in a retail environment.
- Commercial awareness of retail performance drivers.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

The Role This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity where you'll step into a pivotal role as our Finance Business Partner for Retail. You'll be the strategic finance lead for our UK & Ireland store estate - over 800 locations and growing. Working closely with our Retail Directors and Store Operations teams, you'll ensure every decision is grounded in robust financial insight, helping us drive profitable growth and operational excellence across the estate. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our retail transformation. You'll lead the financial planning and performance tracking for store revenue and operating costs, while also shaping smarter, data-led decisions around stock loss, repairs and maintenance, and store-level investments. You'll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping them navigate complexity, challenge assumptions, and unlock value - all while ensuring our stores are set up for long-term success.

Essential The Person: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Strong understanding of revenue forecasting and financial planning in a retail environment.
