Summary: The Finance Business Partner for the Off Trade function at HEINEKEN will play a pivotal role in supporting the commercial finance team by providing insightful reporting and managing the commercial cost base. This position involves collaborating with Front Line Sales and Finance to enhance business performance and governance. The role requires a qualified accountant with significant experience in finance and a strong ability to influence decision-making. The position is based in either London or Edinburgh, operating under a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with colleagues across Front Line Sales and Finance to provide business partnering, performance management, planning, and insight.
- Lead planning processes for the Off Trade, building and reviewing financial forecasts based on sales forecasts.
- Deliver the monthly governance cycle and ensure robust governance focused on key revenue objectives.
- Support customer JVCA conversations to optimize investment and challenge stakeholders for better commercial decision-making.
- Manage and coach one finance analyst, overseeing their development plan.

About The Role Reporting into the Off Trade Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to partner with colleagues across Front Line Sales and Finance to providing first class business partnering, performance management, planning and value added insight. You’ll lead the planning processes for the Off Trade, building and reviewing the financial forecast based on the sales forecast, and will be responsible for delivery of the monthly governance cycle and play a critical role in protecting the business, with responsibility for ensuring robust governance and focus on our performance against our key revenue objectives. You’ll support on customer JVCA conversations in order to optimise investment whilst partnering and challenging your key stakeholders to support great commercial decision-making. The finance controller will have line management responsibility for one finance analyst and will be responsible for their coaching and ongoing development plan.
Who We’re Looking For As a qualified accountant you will have 5+ years’ experience in finance. You will have evidence of influencing decisions which have improved business results and will be commercially aware with experience in identifying and shaping opportunities and risks and delivering financial targets. You will have strong technical finance controlling skills, an excellent relationship-building track record and have natural problem-solving abilities. If you; Are able to build solid relationships and influence stakeholders. Have a proactive and positive attitude. Can navigate robustly through a fluid and fast-moving commercial environment. Have a keen interest in and would like to learn more about the Off-Trade. This could be the role for you!
Our Ways of Working Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You’ll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day in the office and two days from home, although but you’re more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.
