Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of a Finance Business Partnering operating model.
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and ways of working for the business partnering team.
  • Support capability development within the team, including coaching and mentoring where appropriate.
  • Act as a key interface between Finance and senior operational stakeholders during the set-up phase.
  • Provide end-to-end finance business partnering support to designated operational areas.
  • Deliver high-quality financial insight to support decision-making, performance management, and cost control.
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand financial drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for operational functions.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering, ideally within operational or complex environments.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting or establishing finance business partnering teams or models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insight.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and change-oriented environments.
  • Strong systems and financial analysis capability.
