Summary: The Interim Finance Business Partner role at a leading business in Manchester City Centre involves building strong relationships with senior managers and translating financial data into actionable insights. The position requires providing analysis and management reporting to support decision-making and business performance. This 12-month role has the potential to become permanent and reports directly to the Finance Director. The ideal candidate will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, acting as a translator between finance and business requirements.
- Improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance.
- Provide analysis and deliver insights linking financial reports to business strategies.
- Analyze financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
- Provide accurate management reporting to assist with key decision-making.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Develop and manage financial models that support decision-making.
- Draft, review, and input into written reports and communications with stakeholders.
- Review and evaluate investment decisions and business cases.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for business efficiency improvements.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights to drive business performance.
- Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
- Ensure alignment of budgets and forecasts with the firm’s strategic objectives.
- Analyze financial performance, including revenue, profitability, utilization, and cost control.
Key Skills:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Solid communication skills and ability to present information effectively.

The role will be for 12 months initially with potential to go permanent. Reporting into the Finance Director, this role is looking to start asap
Key Responsibilities

- Drafting, reviewing, and inputting into written reports and communications with various internal and external stakeholders.
