Summary: The Finance Business Partner role is a 6-month contract position based in London, focused on enhancing business performance and financial efficiencies for a prominent retail brand. The position involves preparing financial analyses, leading budget reviews, and supporting new store proposals. The candidate will also manage reporting and provide insights to aid decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly analysis and presenting to SLT
- Leading monthly budget review meetings with all departments
- Supporting new store proposals, reviewing rent negotiations and other Capex spend
- Delivering insightful analysis to support decision making
- Preparing new business plans
- Preparing month end reporting
- Preparing monthly balance sheet and cashflow forecasting
- Preparing monthly board packs
- Managing one report
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant
- Ideally experience working in a retail/multi site business
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercially astute
- Ability to build robust working relationships
- Strong FP&A experience
- Ability to manage various tasks and prioritise workload
- Ability to deliver high quality output to tight deadlines
