Description
- Prepare and review financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with departmental teams to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.
- Provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor expenditure and highlight variances to ensure financial efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations.
- Support the wider team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
Profile: A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- A background in accounting or finance, ideally within a not-for-profit setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Previous experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience of financial modelling is beneficial
